University Scientific has one thing going for them – their name.. But don’t be fooled, they have very little to do with a University or Science. Their site is somewhat appealing, but this in my opinion this is another example of a group who has over-extended themselves; the outcome, they don’t really specialize in anything.

BOTTOM LINE: While their products are visually appealing (hydroshroom and mycogarden), their prices are a little hefty for the (minimal) output they are capable of. We’d chalk this up into the avoid if at all possible category.
